The Lebold Mansion, 106 N. Vine St., Abilene has several events planned for the Halloween weekend
Ghost tours — 6 and 8 p.m. Oct. 28 Each tour of the property,from the basement to the tower, lasts about two hours and is limited to 15 people. More tours may be added, depending upon demand and midnight tours can be requested by groups. Suggested donation is $15 per person and reservations are encouraged. The event will include ghost stories and information about paranormal experiences related to the mansion. Chris Blundell and his team will explain ghost hunting equipment, previous findings, and how investigations are conducted. Trick or treating — he first floor of the mansion will open for trick-or-treaters and a short guided tour with characters from the Addams Family and other surprises. Abilene blocks off Third Street NW and Vine Street to provide a safe environment for children, There is no charge but donations are accepted.
Open house — The first floor will open from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29 and 30 for people interested in seeing the inside of the mansion and the Halloween decorations.
