Page 6 of the June 14 Reflector Chronicle carries in very small print the legal notice of the upcoming Primary Election – seldom read, studied. The county has 24 smaller precincts, 5 in Abilene and three in Herrington.

Two years ago we wrote that the county and state were going overwhelmingly GOP in spite of the unpopularity of Governor Brownback, the Democrats a hopeless cause, barely existing. Now many think that a “Blue Wave” will carry the Democrats to victory in the midterms. It depends on the market. J.R. Opat is for Trump, Kobach.
